Liam Gallagher is Britain's 10th wittiest man
Think of witty Brits. Go on. You can choose anyone in history? Is Liam Gallagher in your list? Didn’t think so. It seems we’re at odds with the viewers of new TV channel, Dave, as the Oasis front man has been voted tenth wittiest Brit in history.
The survey of 3,000 comedy fans for Dave TV put the Gallagher in tenth place, behind some more predictable choices of historical figures. The list was topped by iconic playwright Oscar Wilde, with Spike Milligan and Stephen Fry in second and third place. So what landed Our Liam his place in the wit league?
