Steve Hewitt did not leave Placebo, he was fired by management for no real reason.His turncoat bandmates didnt even have the integrity to fire him themselves.What cowards!Im a longtime fan and as far as I am concerned, Placebo no longer exist.
Believe me, I feel your pain. I too am a longterm Placebo fan, who – having had the great fortune to see them many times and meet the guys – did rather favour Mr Steve. I’m not ashamed to say the news left me feeling empty too. I’m sure it wasn’t an easy decsion to make though.
