Aesop Rock (aka Ace Rizzle aka Ian Matthias Bavitz) was the spearhead of the new wave of underground acts that emerged during the late ’90s and is signed to El-P’s brilliant Definitive Jux label. Like all good rappers, Aesop Rock is a demon behind the desk too, creating slow burning jams that are more infectious than blue tongue.
