More than a hint of Ronson about this new track from Mutters. You won’t be surprised to hear that Ms. Winehouse does not make an appearance in the video. One imagines she was otherwise engaged.
“B-Boy Baby” is basically The Ronettes’ “Be My Baby” updated with lyrics about boys wearing Nikes and stuff. The plinky-plonkiness places it as a pretty good choice for a Christmas single. Except it’s apparently being released on New Year’s Eve. Oh.
