Kate Nash chucks stuff out of a window (does not include telly)
We’ve all heard it before, of course. Band A gets drunk, invites the models back, snorts coke off them, sexes on them, then trashes the hotel with wild abandon climaxing with the TV set out the window. All popsters are the same aren’t they? It’s become a rite of passage now… hasn’t it?
Not so in the case of Kate Nash. She said; “Trashing hotel rooms is so lame – some poor maid has to tidy up just because you’re arrogant and ignorant. However, I threw a kettle out of the window once and some batteries and a spoon.”
Which reminds me of the time when I briefly had a record deal, and, in a fit of pique, lobbed some teabags and a door handle out the window of a North Finchley B&B. Anyway, Kate Nash will release ‘Merry Happy’ as a single on March 24th. Watch out for low-flying travel irons.
