You know Wu-Tang Clan, right? They’ve nicked a bit of the Beatles’ “While My Guitar Gently Weeps” and turned it into “While The Heart Gently Weeps”. Have a listen below – what do you think?     the only reason you don’t hear beatles samples all day on everything is because they won’t clear anything – not because it is ‘a step too far’! the wu tried to claim this as the first beatles sample but it is george harrrison’s son replaying it -clevah!
    this sounds like cobbled together nonsense and would be even worse if they hadn’t managed to rope in Badu for the chorus.
    i prefer talib kweli’s -lonely people – but it ended up coming out without the sample.
