Guantanamo Bay to play host to Everclear, lots of "yeah"s
Seems that the oft-demonised US government isn’t so horrid after all! Why, they’ve booked pop-grunge forgotabouts Everclear to play to the detained, shackled, pre-charged populace of Guantanamo Bay over Memorial Weekend!

Ah. OK. Got that muddled up.
Everclear will actually be playing for the American servicefolk stationed at the (in)famed US Naval Base. Still, maybe some of the ‘clear’s cries of “yeah!” (and they have many of them) will seep through and cheer up the prisoners as they sit in legally questionable limbo, thinking about whether they’ll get to see their families again.
You’ll notice in the photo up there that Everclear are posing at another bay – that of Mandalay Bay, to be precise. It’s in Las Vegas, is nowhere near the seaside and is therefore probably not a proper bay at all. If Everclear want to do a tour of bays around the world I would urge them to shun fake bays like Mandalay’s, and head instead to Trecco Bay, South Wales. It’s a lovely part of the world, and you can get very reasonable prices on multi-berth caravans.
