Mighty Boosh Festival adds Peaches, The Kills and a somewhat appropriate comedy tent to its bill
The Might Boosh Festival’s line-up has, up until now, been rather light on comedy acts. I assumed that was because, like most comedians, Barratt and Fielding wanted to be the funniest people in the room.
Well, it seems they’re allowing other funny folk to get a few laughs on the day as well, with a comedy tent called The Velvet Onion.
Within this onion of velvet you’ll be able to find improv genius Ross Noble, along with many other impressive names: Josie Long, Mark Watson, Matthew Holness (that’s Garth Marenghi!), Milton Jones and Robin Ince to name but a few.
To the music bill have been added sleaze-rockers The Kills, and armpit-licking performance nutter Peaches (NOT Geldof), who will be doing a DJ set.
