They might be riding out a pretty harsh backlash right now, but you wouldn’t be able to tell from Black Kids’ rather jubilant new video.
It starts on a rollercoaster and continues in a similarly fun vibe, with Tron, Battle Of The Planets and Transformers among the visual influences. Sure, it’s the video equivalent of one of those tiresome “do you remember X cartoon from when you were a kid?” stand-up routines, but they’ve had a rough time recently so let’s cut the Kids a break, huh?

    Some other 80′s cartoon influences: Ullyses 31 for the sword swinging and flying, and Silverhawks for the first Black Kids title.
