If you know what’s good for you, you’ll watch this bladdy video by Wave Machines. The song it accompanies, “I Go I Go I Go”, is quite the finest thing you will hear today unless you encounter, I dunno, a puppy who can whistle:

Wave Machines – I Go I Go I Go

I’m right, amn’t I? If that hasn’t made your day slightly better I think you are legitimitely allowed to go back to bed, because you’re beyond help.

“I Go I Go I Go” was first released last year, but now it’s been all polished up ready for a release people might actually hear about. It will be available from 1st June, with their debut album Wave If You’re Really There out a couple of weeks later on 15th June.

My Chemical Toilet has a pair of tickets to Wave Machines’ London show on Monday 18th May up for grabs, you know. Check out how to snag ‘em after the jump.

wave_machines_gigIf you’d like to go and see Wave Machines at this here gig at London’s “O2 Islington Academy 2″ (i.e. the Bar Academy bit upstairs) on Monday 18th May, you will need to answer this fiendish multiple choice kweschun:

Where would one normally expect to find a wave machine?

a) A shed

b) A swimming pool

c) You know where the traffic lights are? Turn left there, keep going for a bit, keep going, keep going, keep going, keep going – then you’ll see a left turn. Go down there, and take the second right. You’ll see a drain as you turn in. It always overflows when it rains because it’s stuffed full of fag ends. There.

Send your answer in an electronic mail to stuart[at]mychemicaltoilet.com along with your full name, using subject line “Give me Wave Machines goodness”. The winner will have two spots on the guest list at Monday’s gig.

You have until the stroke of midnight on Saturday 16th May to enter. Only one entry per person, sozzyplops.

Have your say!
