mark e smith Ashton Court Festival to bring us The Fall and The Good, The Bad and The QueenBristol’s Ashton Court Festival, which takes place at a new location, Smythes Field, in front of the mansion house within the Ashton Court Estate on Saturday 14th & Sunday 15th July, has announced its headline acts for this year.
On the Saturday, the Main Stage will be graced by The Fall. There’s also Gravenhurst, and in the Bigger Top there’s the legendary dubster Mad Professor. On the Sunday, The Good, the Bad and the Queen headline the Main Stage, while Enter Shikari play the Amphitheatre, Horace Andy and Dub Asante Band are in the Bigger Top, and there’s a Quantic DJ Set too.


A weekend ticket costs £20 in advance (plus booking fee) or £10 for a Child ticket (aged 10 to 16 inclusive). Day tickets cost £12 in advance or £6 for a Child ticket (aged 10 to 16 inclusive). Prices will be more on the door, subject to availability. Under 10’s remain free. Parking passes cost £8 per day, and will only be available in advance. Bargain! To buy, click here.
Please note that alcohol is not permitted to be brought onto the festival site - there will be several bars on site selling alcohol. Consider yourself told (or, sneak beer into the site in your undercrackers… it’s always worked for me).
