30seconds 30 Seconds To Mars cover Kanye Wests Stronger, make it weaker
Jared Leto’s band 30 Seconds To Mars have been in the country recently. They visited Jo Whiley’s Live Lounge last week and performed a set - including a cover of Kanye West’s Daft Punk-sampling smash hit, “Stronger”.
You can give their version a listen here or here. My verdict is that it kind of loses all of the bluster that makes Kanye’s version so irresistible, and ends up being - dare I say it - a tad boring. What do you reckon?

i’m a fan of 30stm here in Argentina, where this guys did an awsome performance last 10/24/2007. Today i listen to this cover i think is totally diferent, and has a very sensual beat, i think the original version of Kanye ( who i like also , but of originalness has so little, because use the sample of other great song of Daft Punk) is nice to. I don’t think one is better than the other, they are completly diferent and that’s the beauty in music, diversity…
