Britney Spears goes utterly shagmental for “Womanizer” video

It only seems like half an hour ago that Britney Spears was shaving her bonce and trying to smash up paparazzi cars with umbrellas. Her recent victories at the MTV VMAs felt a little storyboarded to me, but seeing her return, and hearing her new song “Womanizer”, you can almost sense how much pop music missed her.
And “Womanizer”’s video illustrates how much the medium of pop music video missed her. If she won a VMA for the rather lacklustre “Piece Of Me” clip, she should win some kind of flipping nobel prize for “Womanizer”.

Moments of magnificence you are urged to consider:
- Britney perspiring in a sauna, complete with “well-placed” blasts of steam
- Britney as some kind of office dominatrix, harrassing the shit out of the accounts department before encouraging them all into a big ol’ orgy
- Britney as a tattooed waitress doing more sexytime
- Britney as a, um, sexy chauffeur (hey, it works) who goes and does sex in the back of the limo
