Cut Copy are synthy rock types from Melbourne, and they’re causing quite a fuss among people who have cool haircuts because they sound a little bit like that ridiculously reductive comparison.
Their new video, “Hearts On Fire”, features a young man walking around with a raincloud directly over his head. Not very nice when he’s trying to get some kip, but when he awakes in the morning all he needs is to have some shower gel next to his bed and he’s shaved valuable minutes off his morning.
Having listened to their current album In Ghost Colours I have to say I found it a tad samey at first, but I loved this track from the outset. It has a Daft Punk-ish interlude that is just irresistible.
