Geri Halliwell performs a miracle on a sick child

Music News

Former Spice Girl (I was going to write ’singer’ but it didn’t feel right) Geri Halliwell has gone and performed a miracle like a modern day Jeebus. While visiting a hospital to go see 14-year-old Jessica Knight, who had slipped into a coma after being horrifically attacked while walking home in Manchester in January, Geri managed to secure some great PR brighten the stricken family’s day.
The girl’s mother, Jill Walmsley, claims her daughter had not moved at all before Ginge’s visit and then, like a big amazing thing, awoke just 24 hours after the star’s visit. The mum said: “Geri sang a couple of lines from one of the Spice Girls’ songs and Jessica started moving her arms and legs. It was amazing. We were all in fits of giggles because we were so relieved and it was just so funny seeing her legs move to Geri’s singing. The next day, she opened her eyes for the first time.”
Insert jokes about flailing limbs trying to stop the horrific racket here. [via Yahoo]
