Glastonbury news round-up: Glastonbury weather, Glastonbury travel, Glastonbury pop star illnesses
You may not have realised this, but it’s the Glastonbury Festival this coming weekend. Let’s see what newsy bits are floating about thereforth, shall we?
- The BBC Glastonbury webcam is sending regular snapshots to Flickr
- National Express has announced late availability for direct coach services to the festival, which obviously allows more people to be environmentally friendly
- Talking of which, Hippyshopper has an excellent list of ways to have a green Glasto this year
- Some kind of sun dance took place in London the other day to try and ensure the elements remain friendly over the weekend…
- … but it looks as though, while a mudfest should be avoided, there will be at least some wind and rain
- How are Glasto’s pop star medical facilities? Amy Winehouse may not have emphysema after all, but might need an ambulance on hand just in case. Carl Barat, meanwhile, reckons a pesky bout of pancreatitis won’t keep him away
- If you’re heading to Glasto but need to know what you should be wearing to look fabulous, check out Catwalk Queen’s fashtastic gallery of celeb festival fashion
- Oh, and had you heard that tickets are still available?
