Hyde Park Calling “reviews” - were Aerosmith and Crowded House the only bands there?
In the absence of much in the way of comprehensive reviews, the best story to emerge from Hyde Park Calling may be Crowded House vocalist Neil Finn verbally abusing a a sign language interpreter. And they always seemed like such nice boys. OK, it was all a hilarious misunderstanding and Finny apologised from the stage later on. I feel cheated of a story.
Elsewhere the “reviews”, if you can call them that, are your typical “Aerosmith rock Hyde Park” yawnfests. If you’d like to count how many times the weather didn’t dampen the fans’ spirits, you can look here, here
and here for starters.
Or you could just skip to The Sun’s gossip from the event - but be warned, it includes talk of Brian May “bopping”.
Were you there? Fancy undergoing some In-Tents Questioning so that we can get an idea of what actually, like, happened and stuff? Or perhaps you have some snaps on your phone you’d like to chuck onto our moblog? The options for interactivity are positively mind-bending!
