Incredibly and brilliantly hirsute, talented and generous (hang on… that’s three… but I wanted to do some more brackets). Other than the studio released LPs and EP with Calexico, Sam Beam is now giving away music to everyone… for free!

Yessir, that’s right, you can now get your hands on Iron and Wine live shows from Played Last Night. The site currently features seven shows from their North American East Coast tour, with more shows added soon from the UK and West Coast tours, and the upcoming Europe, Japan, and Australia tours. Oh, and if you’re wondering where the name comes from, apparently it’s taken from a dietary supplement named “Beef Iron & Wine” that he found in a shop while shooting a film.
