Halloween coincidentally round the corner I’ve seen some blatant PR crap in my time, but this story about Liam Gallagher supposedly being spooked by a ghost in his pad just about takes the biscuit. Of course Oasis release their new DVD, “Lord Don’t Slow Me Down” today, so you’d expect to see something about them in the news. But am I the only one who wishes it was for lamping a photographer, or being arrested for something or other?
The story, in The Daily Star, tellingly takes its quotes from “a source”, which may suggest the story’s phantom qualities extend to its truthfulness. Now, should Liam end up trying to fight the ghostly figure - or, even better, trying to snort it - then we’d have a decent tale.
