Lodestar latest festival to be cancelled due to poor weather
The new LodeStar festival, which was planned to take place near Lode, in Cambridgeshire from Friday 31st August til Sunday 2nd September, is the latest victim of the terrible weather and has been cancelled.
Festival organiser Doug Durrant has just told BBC 6 Music that he felt that the awful summer weather was putting people off buying tickets. Acts booked to appear at the festival included pretend Mancunian, but very real Boltonian, Badly Drawn Boy, Idlewild, The Bees, The Pigeon Detectives, The Rakes, Ghosts, Palladium, Envelopes, Foals, Friendly Fires, Terra Naomi, The Strange Death of Liberal England, The Hot Puppies, and more.
Refunds for tickets should be available from the point of purchase.
