RedFest cancelled due to poor ticket sales :(
I mentioned Surrey’s RedFest festival for the first time last week, and apparently that was the kiss of death. It has now been cancelled due to poor ticket sales.
Bit of a shame really, since it had a tasty, eclectic bill featuring The Maccabees, Crystal Castles, Los Campesinos! and Patrick Wolf’s only festival appearance in the UK this year.
So it seems the overcrowded festival playing field has claimed another victim. Couldn’t it have been one with a cruddier bill though? If you had tickets you can get a refund through your ticket agent.
