Festival News: Creamfields goes green, Redfest to hit Redhill, Vice Magazine & Drowned In Sound cater to the neon-clad

- Creamfields has teamed up with Liftshare.com to encourage people to share transport and cut CO2 emissions. You can find people to share with at Creamfields Carshare
- Redfest is a new boutique festival taking place on the 4th & 5th July in Redhill, Surrey. The rather hip line-up includes Crystal Castles, The Maccabees, Patrick Wolf and Lightspeed Champion


- Talking of hipsters - Drowned In Sound and Vice Magazine are combining to put on some no doubt dayglo-heavy shows next Thursday, 12th June. You won’t be surprised to learn they take place in London
- Edinburgh’s Edge Festival will run from 1st-27th August, and will see Kate Nash, Maximo Park and - really? - Shed Seven perform. The shows will take place at various venues throughout the city, and tickets are on sale now
- Acts with interesting names added to the Latitude Festival line-up this week: Cheeky Cheeky And The Nosebleeds, Kabeedies, The Cocknbullkid and Johnny Foreigner
