Sly and the Family Stone added to Lovebox billing
Lovebox Weekender, which takes place in London’s Victoria Park on Saturday 21st and Sunday 22nd July, has announced that legendary act Sly & the Family Stone are to headline the Saturday night.
Lovebox’s Music Programme Director Rob Wood says: “Lovebox is all about collating exhilarating new talent with the original musical legends who have inspired and influenced both us and the acts we are showcasing. We’re doing this across all the music scenes that excite us. Sly & The Family Stone always stood for racial and musical integration and is therefore the perfect addition for a festival which is all about bringing together creative talent from around the world to the heart of multicultural London.”
