Live Earth (London) billing finalised

Festival News

earth12 Live Earth (London) billing finalisedOne thing that all festivals have in common are that they take place on the planet Earth. Of course, there may be others in distant galaxies but we haven’t been invited (apart from that slight acid overdose I had some years ago). While I’m mentioning our planet, it neatly brings me to more news of Live Earth which sets out to raise awareness of our orb’s plight in the face of thousands of musicians burning up the sky in their private jets… uh… hang on…
Anyway, more acts have been added to the Live Earth (London) billing. Metallica, Kasabian, Pussycat Dolls and Terra Naomi join the London Leg of the 7/7/07 Concerts to Combat Global Warming, adding to an already glittering line-up of stars. (Read over for the full bill)

The event hopes to ‘bring together more than 2 billion people to combat the climate crisis’ and, although I’m not sure most will give a fig about the environment when the music starts, the line-up is pretty impressive.
With the full line-up for Live Earth London now revealed, hosts and guest presenters will be announced shortly. The full Wembley line-up:
