Smashing Pumpkins almost promise never to release another record

Music News

Billy corgan Smashing Pumpkins almost promise never to release another recordOoh, so close. Tech Digest reported yesterday that Billy Corgan and Jimmy Chamberlain have been floating the possibility of not releasing albums anymore, preferring to focus on promoting individual tracks in an internet-y kind of way.
“We want to keep things vital and keep things viable… music has in many ways just become an advertisement for your tour, I don’t think we will make records again”, said drummer Chamberlain.
I think I might speak for many fans of the Pumpkins’ glory days when I request that we get this in writing. Please, no more lacklustre albums?
