The Clik Clik split, having fulfilled 2% of their potential

“Bravo The Clik Clik. They shall go far,” I said but six months ago.
And I was bang right, if by “far” I meant “precisely nowhere, despite being enormous fun live and being kind of the perfect cross between Alphabeat and Hadouken! with a bit of ska chucked in.”
That’s not what I meant. But it’s what has happened, with the band announcing on their MySpace that it’s all over. No doubt they’ll be back in other “projects”, but one can’t help feeling disapponted that The Clik Clik failed to reach the dizzy heights from which we are currently being shat upon by the drab likes of Razorlight and Scouting For Girls. They never even released an album, for shit’s sake.
Oh well, better luck next time, constituent parts of The Clik Clik.
