win music prizes Win £200 worth of t shirts, CDs and DVDs from Ver Man

‘Citing news now for impoverished shut-ins and moneyed out-and-abouters both, as My Chemical Toilet offers you the chance to win a bunch of music-related “swag” with a total value of approximately £200. To put that in perspective: if we were working with Zimbabwean dollars the booty would be worth so much you wouldn’t even know where to put the commas.

This box o’ lovelies, donated by EMI to celebremate the launch of their actually-quite-good new website, will suit you whether you’re an on-your-arse crisp-muncher or a sun-worshipping park-frolicker. It features t-shirts* from LCD Soundsystem, Iron Maiden and Pet Shop Boys alongside CDs and DVDs from artists including John Lennon, David Bowie and Depeche Mode. There is much more than what I’ve listed here, I just can’t be bothered writing it all down. Suffice to say it is all “quality merchandise”.

A more random collection of goodies it would be hard to find, but that’s rather what you’ve come to expect from this domain, no?

Click over to see how to win, whydontchew.

For a chance to win the goodies simply do the followings:

1. Watch the short snippet from Lily Allen’s “It’s Not Fair” video below.

2. Make a note of the name of the show on which Lily is appearing. Clue: “The __ __ Show”.

3. Email your answer along with your name and address to stuart[at]mychemicaltoilet.com, with the subject line “I hope I can fit into those t-shirts”.

You have until the stroke of midnight on Sunday 10th May to enter. The winner will picked at random on Monday 11th May, when I’ll put the winner’s name in the comments to this post. One entry per person. UK entrants only, sozzyplops.

* In case you’re wondering, the t-shirts are mainly medium-sized. If you’re not a whippet-framed sort I am sure you have a slimmer friend of whom you’re quite jealous who will be having a birthday at some point over the next 12 months.
