Wu-Tang head honcho, the RZA, to play Futuresonic
There’s no denying the importance of Wu-Tang Clan. In my eyes, they’re as important as Nirvana or Radiohead are in their respective fields. The mastermind behind the Wu is probably the greatest living hip-hop producer, the RZA - who just happens to be headlining Manchester’s Futuresonic festival. Futuresonic’s hip-hop showcase also features electro-hop producer Flying Lotus and Rustie, which means a killer night out for all beat-fiends.
The event takes place in Manchester on May 1st to the May 5th. As well as the RZA showcase, over the weekend you can also catch seminal art-punk pioneers Wire plus Venetian Snares, Luke Vibert, Beacons of Sound, Bogdan Raczynski, C’mon Feet DJs and loads more. There’s art and stuff going on as well. Click here to buy tickets or click here to find out more about Futuresonic.
