Clooney Clooney waitress takes the stage at Glastonbury
This year’s Glastonbury festival will be unforgettable for Victoria Hart. The unknown Surrey 18-year-old normally scrapes by on £7 an hour as a waitress but after a month straight out of a Hollywood script, she’ll be performing on stage at Glastonbury this summer.
Hart, who performs jazz and big band numbers in between serving dinners at the Naked Turtle restaurant in London, was spotted at work by George Clooney. Her rollercoaster ride to fame was reported in the Daily Mail last week after Clooney invited her to sing at a charity gig on a yacht in Cannes during the film festival.

She did the gig for free, but it looks like that’ll be the last freebie for a while. Since her return, Hart - who describes herself as “a female Frank Sinatra” - has found record companies falling over themselves to sign her. Now she’s been invited to grace the John Peel stage at the legendary festival.
