Early Babyshambles gig to go to DVD
An early Babyshambles concert is set to be released on DVD. Good news for fans of rambling sixth form prose brought on by crack. The footage of Pete Doherty and pals playing a show at the Ritz in Manchester in September 2004 will appear as ‘Up The Shambles - Live In Manchester’ on November 5. The gig saw the band previewing tracks from their debut album ‘Down In Albion’, play several songs by The Libertines and feature singer Dot Allison on guest vocals on several songs.
The DVD will feature the following tracklist: ‘The Man Who Came To Stay’, ‘Do You Know Me’ ‘In Love With A Feeling’, ‘Babyshambles’, ‘Gang Of Gin’, ‘Fuck Forever’, ‘I Mean You No Harm’ (featuring Dot Allison), ‘Sheepskin’, ‘Tearaway’ (featuring Dot again), ‘Don’t Look Back Into the Sun’ (with Dot…), ‘Time For Heroes’ (More Dot action), ‘Albion’ (guess who? Yep. Dot), ‘I Wanna Break Your Heart’ (featuring…), ‘What Katie Did’, ‘Killamangiro’, ‘My Darling Clementine’, ‘Blackboy Lane’, ‘Wolfman’.
