thomradio Fans crash Radiohead site in cheap album frenzy
Looks like Radiohead’s plan to let fans pay whatever they like for the band’s new album ‘In Rainbows’ is paying off. Pre orders from thousands of eager UK and US fans have crashed their official website.

Digital Spy quote guitarist Jonny as playing at being virtual bouncer: “Get behind the rope. No denim. It’s getting busy in there, busier than they expected. So, if you please bear with us, it should get cleared out soon. Thanks for your patience with the site and interest in the record.”
Apparently one way to avoid the crush is to pre order the set price discbox version of the album rather than going for the pay-what-you-want option. But there’s something quite alluring about the thought of a brand new slice of Radiohead for 50p, isn’t there?
