radiocomm Radiohead are soooooooo not talking to the press...
Oxford legends Radiohead are continuing their anti commercial stance with new album ‘In Rainbows’.
According to the nice people at Digital Spy, not only have the band decided to sell their album for whatever price the fans think it is worth, but they’re now refusing to reveal sales figures. According to reports, some people have chosen to pay full whack for the album (£15 if you’re interested) which went on sale online yesterday priced at 1p - £100. But no doubt some freeloaders have gone for the tempting 1p option.

This does cause slight problems for chart organisers, who have no idea where to place the band in the album charts. There’s no news yet on how they’ll solve that if Radiohead continue to stay schtum. But it does mean that the only really commercial thing the band have done with this album is team up with a record label to release it. Not bad going for one of the UK’s biggest groups – they could teach people like U2 (currently annoying Dubliners with their plans for a super hotel) a lesson.
