Festivals round up - Tuesday update

slyfamilystone1 Festivals round up Tuesday update
As previously reported, a lot of the weekend’s festivals were a muddy mess. But some brave reviewers have now made it back from the edge, so here’s a more detailed round up.
- At the Lovebox Weekender Sly and the Family Stone’s late arrival did nothing to detract from their performance or dampen the audience’s enthusiasm for the band’s first reunion in two decades, or so says the Telegraph.

- All didn’t go so well at Eastern Haze. As well as the previously reported driving rain, the Lowestoft Journal says police are investigating after a man died on site.
- The utter washout that was the Glade Festival didn’t deter this happy camper. Despite the torrential rain, organisers turning people away and even the deflation of the inflatable church, a bigger than expected group of nutters braved it all to enjoy those bands whose tour buses didn’t get stuck in the quagmire.
- The only drama at Spain’s sunny beachside Benicassim, attended by 150,000 happy suntanned campers, was the almost-non-show of Klaxons. I know, I know, after the UK’s flood drama it hardly merits a mention - but the NME have the details nonetheless.
