Hot Chip return and are “Ready For The Floor”
Over the page you can see the new Hot Chip video. “Ready For The Floor” isn’t that great a departure from “The Warning” - infectious beats, beguilingly heartfelt vocals, nagging melody. I think it may be what people refer to as “a grower”.
The video, though, instantly grabs your attention, with Alexis Taylor rivalling Heath Ledger as The Joker, and lots of bits where things kind of get a bit half and half-y and paint gets thrown and there are plastic teeth and this is obviously one of those instances where you just need to watch it rather than read my pitiful punctuation-free attempts to describe it.
