I Thought You Were Dead!: Janet Jackson returns with “Feedback”

I Thought You Were Dead!, Music News, Video

JanJack is back. To attack. With “Feedback”. The song which reminds me of Brandy’s crunchy R&B stormer from a few years back, “What About Us?”. It’s not quite as good, in my humble opinion, but it is the kind of slightly sleazy clubby pop track that would have sat quite nicely on Britney’s latest album.
And the video? Well, where to begin? Dancing in space with ninjas. In a weave. Dancing atop a big pool of white liquid, which one can only hope is milk. Playing a bit of football with some white orbs. I am sure this is all Very Significant In Some Kind Of Way.

That doesn’t sound so negative to me. I liked “What About Us?” and I like “Feedback.” If I think “Feedback” is the better track, and someone else thinks differently, it doesn’t make Janet any less amazing.
