Free Gigs - The Vice Tour with Black Kids, Friendly Fires and Ipso Facto

Festival News

Nobody gives you something for nothing. Nobody but the rather kind people promoting this year’s Vice Tour, that is.
Top retailer Topshop have teamed up with Vice to bring three hotly tipped bands to the streets of Glasgow, Manchester, London and Bristol for a four day freebie of shows. The line up includes NME’s latest favourites: Black Kids and Friendly Fires, both of which featured in the magazine’s New Noise 2008 list. Also playing will be Ipso Facto, melancholy synth lovers with roots in the Southend scene which so kindly brought us The Horrors.
If track records are what you go for you may be interested to know that last year‘s tour featured some of 2007’s great finds like the Foals. So if you want to be “scene” to have your finger on the pulse, you’ll love this gig. If however, like me, you’re just a cheapo at heart, I’m sure you’ll agree the best part is it’s FREE! To register for tickets simply click here, pop in your details and Robert’s your uncle.
