Join the dots - Dirty Pretty Things, The Holloways and Mystery Jets at Dot To Dot festival

Festival News, Music News

dottodotnewlogo.gifDirty Pretty Things, The Holloways, Mystery Jets , Get Cape.Wear Cape.Fly, Santogold, Saul Williams, Glasvegas… Reading like a musical shopping list, the incredible line-up of upcoming Dot To Dot festival, this bank holiday weekend, will undoubtedly make the festival’s third year their best yet.
From its humble beginnings as a one day event, D2D has already exploded in size since 2005 totting up more acts, venues and dates than before. Now with an added London warm up date (Hoxton’s ‘Hox To Dot’), this Nottingham and Bristol based weekender promises good things for both popsters and real music fans (aka elitists).
Dot To Dot is certainly no T4 on The Beach (although Steve Jones is officially welcome) with Bristol’s acts ranging from Rolo Tomassi, Ladyhawke and Dan Deacon through to Esser, Ida Maria and the Teenagers. In fact, the line up is so good that I expect a large part of my day to be spent indecisively weeping over the nice little Excel planner I typed up before they put something much better on the website…
