Neil Young added to Roskilde bill

Dispatches From Beardsville, Festival News

Neil Young shows sell out fast. Worse still, they ALWAYS cost an arm and a leg. So, how do you go about watching the great man? Well, one answer is to catch him at a festival, which is handy as Young has been added to this year’s Roskilde Festival bill.
Young last played the Danish festival in 2000 and returns to plug his latest LP ‘Chrome Dreams’. On the bill, Young will be playing with Radiohead and My Bloody Valentine. Not bad eh? The festival is hosted near Copenhagen and takes place from July 3 - 6. More news, info and ticket details can be found at www.roskilde-festival.dk. Young kicked off his UK leg last night in Edinburgh and he’ll round-up these shores with dates at the Hammersmith Apollo ( March 5/6/8/9/11/14/15) and Manchester Apollo (11/12).
