Laura Marling, Everest added to Hop Farm Festival bill

Festival News, Music News

If you hold a festival on a farm, do you get to party with cows and pigs and chickens and animal excrement? Probably not. But if you head to The Hop Farm Festival you’ll be able to find out for sure. You’ll also now be able to see youthful folk sensation Laura Marling, a favourite round these parts, because she’s just been added to the bill. LA indie folks Everest have been announced as performers at the fest as well.

They’ll be joining, as previously reported, the likes of Neil Young, Primal Scream, My Morning Jacket, Supergrass, Guillemots, and Rufus Wainwright.
I should just point out that this is definitely a proper festival and there will definitely be no animals to dance with. It’s just that… Look, there’s a part of me that really want to fling a hen in the air to Supergrass’s “Alright”. I just can’t let that dream go.
