Patrick Wolf announces secret gig
I can’t really understand the popularity of Patrick Wolf, I always think that he’s trying a bit too hard… That, and only people in London seem to like him. So it’s just as well that an imminent secret gig of his is to take place in the big smoke.
In association with Fujifilm’s new FinePix Z10fd, Patrick Wolf has announced he is to perform an exclusive live gig in a secret central London location and invites you to ‘Be Part Of The Seen’. The 100 capacity venue is set to remain a secret until the day of the event and will provide the perfect space for the exclusive gig. Tickets are not being sold to this unique event, fans must simply join the ‘Be Part Of The Seen’ Facebook™ group and once a group member are automatically entered into a draw.
‘Be Part Of The Seen’ is a slice of Patrick’s life, apparently. He has joined forces with some of his hippest friends and together they have packed the forum full of fashion-led gossip, tips and trends in their constantly updated blogs. The group is decorated by their own portraits and photographs using the new Fujifilm FinePix Z10fd, capturing a sneaky peek backstage and beyond (according to the press release I just received).
Basically, it’s going to be a perfect night for a group of Patrick Wolf fans who are eager to touch the hem of his very expensive garments. Contrary to what you say, Patrick Wolf has spent the year playing sold out shows across the world. He has just finished his third tour of the US this year, is currently on his second tour of Australia and Japan, and his forthcoming UK tour is well on its way to a complete sell out - some tickets remain for Exeter and Leicester. Far from being pretentious, his shows are heartfelt and a lot of fun.
