Pete Wentz to continue playing himself with Californication cameo
If Fall Out Boy’s Pete Wentz’s tour de force performance as himself in One Tree Hill has left you begging for more footage of him playing, um, himself, you is in luck. Wentzy is going to be appearing in the sleazily fantastic Californication.
The good part of this story for me is just that Californication is getting a second season. Does it need Pete Wentz? No. Does Pete Wentz need it? No. Why is it happening? No. I mean - don’t know.
If Pete Wentz keeps playing himself on TV shows, then his self will surely become just someone who plays himself on TV shows, and so he’ll appear on more TV shows playing a version of himself who appears on TV shows and oh God I think my brain’s toast.
And that’s all I have to say about that.
