Last year Simian Mobile Disco released a song called “Hustler”. They made a video for it which was rather raunchy, in a numerous-ladies-kissing-each-other kind of way. Yes, it was total male fantasy territory. It was obviously never going to be played on The Hits of a Sunday morning, that’s for sure (check it out at here - but if you’re in work right now be prepared for possibly inappropriate levels of arousal). As a result, as with so many things these days, its main method of distribution was the internet, because that’s where muck spreads.
Anyway, now that “Hustler”’s being re-released, they’ve had a sit-down and a think about what direction the new video should go for. They’ve settled on Nine ½ Weeks. Bravo!

Yep, they’ve found some ladies to wear even fewer clothes than those in the previous vid. They’ve surrounded them with cream, donuts, milkshakes and spag bol (?!). They’ve left the cameras running to see what happens. Whaddya know!? The girls start fornicating with the spread. Um, and then turn into Aphex Twin-style demons at the end. Guess the net might be the main method of distribution for this clip as well, then - but is it really any more risque than Benny Benassi’s “Satisfaction” video?
