Spice Girls announce extra tour dates
Nowadays, bands seem to announce a tiny amount of tour dates with a big flourish in the hope of selling out in record time. Then when that’s done they release the rest of the dates they had planned since day one, to less trumpeting publicity.
So it may not surprise you to hear that the Spice Girls have announced some extra dates for their reunion tour. It seems their publicity tactic worked – the original few dates sold out in a record 38 seconds – and now the full tour has been announced.
Entertainmentwise report the girl power pushers have made a second ‘extension’ to their comeback tour. Tickets for two extra dates at the 02 Arena in January went on sale on Saturday morning. Apparently more American dates will also be announced imminently. Don’t hold your breath…
