portishead Portishead announce new LP and European tour! Portishead are, without doubt, one of the finest musical happenings these shores have ever thrown up. Bleak, haunting, beautiful, moving, sinister, big, bad, bold, delicate… Portishead have it all. The groups output is minimal and their live shows are even more scarce (if you get what I mean) and anyone who is lucky enough to have caught them in the flesh will tell you that, on their day, there’s not many who can match them.
So, bearing that in mind, get stupidly excited and punch the air! Portishead have a new LP coming out and they’re doing a tour as well! This isn’t some rumour set to drive everyone crazy. This is bona fide and up on their website! So where are they playing? What is the album called? Can I cry yet? Read over buster, it’s time to get down to some gloomy strip-hop!
