beardyhorsesman Surprisingly jaunty video: Band Of Horses Is There A Ghost I’ve never seen a Band Of Horses video before, and I kind of assumed they’d be fairly downbeat affairs. I mean, look at this guy on the left. He doesn’t really scream “MTV-friendly”. No offence, Band of Horses man.
“Is There A Ghost” is a pretty lively clip though, appropriately enough since the single manages, after a quiet start, to become a terrific power-pop number while also recalling Joy Division / New Order guitars towards the end. The trick to the video, perhaps, is replacing the band with a big old pillow fight. Maybe we could do that with Keane. Not in their videos, but in life in general.
