Are Led Zeppelin going to tour in 2008?

Music News

If you’ve just paid a million quid for a ticket to see Led Zeppelin, then I’ve got bad news. Despite previous denials, Led Zeppelin are going to tour in 2008… all over the world… and with The Cult as support. Cult frontman, Ian Astbury, apparently let slip during a gig in the US, telling the crowd they will be back next year supporting the 70s rockers. or to quote his exact words.
Astbury said “We’ll be back next year, because we’re opening for a band you may have heard of. The name starts with an ‘L’ and has a ‘Z’ in it.” One member of the audience shouted “Led Zeppelin?”. Astbury nodded. So… who is up for screaming along to The Immigrant Song? Zep heads will be thrilled to know that the rockers have got a brand new website out too (click here for a gander)

The new Led Zeppelin website is a vast improvement on anything that has previously existed on the net. Extremely well organized and entertaining as well as packed with information. Finally a fitting site for rock’s greatest band, the mighty Led Zeppelin.
