David LaChappelle removes Rihanna’s eyeballs and still fails to make her look ugly

Rihanna’s new video, for “Disturbia”, is directed by famed directing person David LaChappelle, and ticks a number of strangely-shaped boxes. The labels on those boxes read:
- No eyeballs
- Mad Max’s stylist
- Vague S&M overtones
- A bedframe with no mattress
- Smoking
None of which, naturally, manages to make Rihanna look anything less than devastatingly attractive. Let’s face it, you could dress her in a suit made of elephant poo and she’d still have a certain je ne sais quoi. Oh yeah, the song’s alright an’ all.
