Festival must-haves: The Utili-Key
Gadgets, Garments, Gifts & Gear

How many times have you found yourself at a festival with something to cut and nothing to cut it with? On second thoughts, careful how you answer that one…
The latest bidder for our pre-festival preparation cash is the 6-in-1 Utili-Key. Not only does it have a pun-tastic name, it also has multiple uses. My other half, peering over my shoulder, muttered: “I wouldn’t pay a tenner for a screwdriver.” Aah, but screwdriving is just touching the surface here.
This £9.99 gadget does pretty much everything you’d ever need. First and foremost for festival fun, there’s the all important bottle opener. Added to that are several screwdriver functions including ‘eyeglass’ (no, me neither), plus two different surfaces for cutting. If you’re the sort of person who feels manly when tools swing from your groin region then there’s more good news – it can easily be attached to a keyring for some of that top belt-swinging action.
For a multi-functioning tool it’s pretty light and compact, which is important when you may have to lug your equipment several miles through mud / rain / cowdung to your campsite. On top of that it comes in a sexy metal giftbox stating its Swiss technology origins, so you can impress the ladies / gents when you whip out your tool.
It’s safe to say you’d never be lost on a festival site with a Utili-Key about your person – and it might even make you a few friends in times of need. Find out more, gaze at the shiny stainless steel or buy one here.
