Phil Baldwin normally spends his days trying to educate small people in London. Now he’s on summer holidays though, he’s made the most of it with a trip to The Big Chill. Here’s what he found, in a school-trip-evaluation stylee.

The Big Chill.
3. Have you attended this festival before? If yes, how does this year compare?
No.

4. Which act gave the best performance, and why?
Mr Scruff - the visuals were just fantastic.
5. If you could have promoted one act on the bill to headline status, who would you choose? Why?
Probably Mr Scruff.
6. Did your opinion of any acts change radically as a result of their performance?
No.
7. Nicest surprise / biggest disappointment (music-related or otherwise)?
The food within the festival was high quality and reasonably priced.
8. What was the best heckle you heard?
I can’t remember any good ones (too much booze.)
9. Any high-quality onstage banter you feel deserves highlighting?
Ditto.
10. What was the funniest moment (music-related or otherwise)?
Drinking with friends until the morning (we were on a stag do.)
11. Weirdest moment (if different)?
Getting matching tattoos with a random guy I met outside the tattoo parlour!
12. Any moments of sheer terror you’d like to share?
Toilets…
13. Anything you wish you’d brought with you?
A campervan.
14. Anything you wish you’d left behind?
My brand new trainers.
