Laura Shuckburgh is a shy, retiring quiet little sales exec who never goes out after dark. Okay, okay, who are we kidding - she’s a party animal and has just got back from V! After 24 hours recovery, she’s here to give us her views…

Laura Shuckburgh, 24, from Oxford.

2. Which festival have you recently attended?
V Festival.
3. Have you attended this festival before? If yes, how does this year compare?
No.
4. Which act gave the best performance, and why?
The Foo Fighters… they really know what they are doing, total icons. Amazing!
5. If you could have promoted one act on the bill to headline status, who would you choose? Why?
I would probably say Kasabian - they were very cool.
6. Did your opinion of any acts change radically as a result of their performance?
Juliet and the Licks were amazing, I really enjoyed them and will now be getting all their albums.
7. Nicest surprise / biggest disappointment (music-related or otherwise)?
Biggest disappointment was Babyshambles not turning up on time due to “traffic” – yeah right.
8. What was the best heckle you heard?
I don’t think I heard any other than the usual… “Dave Grohl I want your babies” was very common!
9. Any high-quality onstage banter you feel deserves highlighting?
Basement Jaxx just rocked with their onstage banter…. I loved them.
10. What was the funniest moment (music-related or otherwise)?
Probably rolling around in the mud, which was great fun until I got cold.
11. Weirdest moment (if different)?
None really…. all pretty sane.
12. Any moments of sheer terror you’d like to share?
The morning trip to the loos was pretty terrifying!
13. Anything you wish you’d brought with you?
Even more friends, just so that they could share the experience.
14. Anything you wish you’d left behind?
The many, many things that got wrecked by the mud! My iPod being one of them.

General facilities: 5/10
Crowd / audience: 9/10
Food and drink value for money: 3/10 – always a rip off!
16. Finally – anything else you’d like to mention?
Never forget your wellies - mine probably saved my life this weekend!!
